except jump on the trampline alot
and pet my dog
and watch step up 2
and then put on rap music and pretend that i was a good dancer
and go to the grocery store with my dad
and help make pasta
and watch american idol
and take a shower
and do alot of sit ups.

mothers day @ 1:31 PM



i got home on friday afternoon and i'm feeling a little suffocated here at home.
i dont know. maybe its because i've spent two years away from parents for the most part.
or maybe i'm just PMSing.
either way, i've been pretty grumpy around the house and i felt really guilty this morning (being mothers day and all)
so i bought my mom a romance movie and a card that has michael scott from the office saying
some thing retarded.

all that is to say that I really love my mom.
even though i dont know how to show it when i'm annoyed.
i guess i should work on that.

i have final room inspections tomorrow.
so i sat on my bathroom floor for 2.5 hours with a bottle of soft scrub and a toothbrush.
and scrubbed grout.
.....i know.


at least tonight i have something to look forward to!
-my friend james from ohio is coming to dallas today for his sisters cfni graduation, and i get to hang out!
- my mom is coming to help me clean/pack
- p.f. changs tonight!

i'm really excited for yfn, but i'm also pretty nervous. cameron called me into the office earlier this week and asked if i would be in charge of the creative team. so color scheme, paint, design ideas, the foyer, basicially the whole look of yfn is under my control. i have to come up with ideas, colors, and then make sure they all get done.
!!!!!! i feel so honored to be picked for such a huge thing, but its so scary. if yfn looks bad, its my fault :/

its okay though i know i can do it.

tonight jared, cody, ben, josh, and kasi all played at opening bell coffee shop's open mic night.
can i just say, that there are some amazingly talented people living in dallas.
like woah.
i havent felt that cultured/hip in a long time. plus i got 3 compliments on my hair! all from amazing musician people!

anyone interested in doing some coffee house/open mic stuff with me?

I realize its been about 50 years since my last post, but i have nothing better to do that be on the internet, so back to blogging i guess.

the song bruises by chairlift is really morbid.
maria, shelby, cameron and I went to the nicest, most quiet walmart ever today, and i bought a giant bag of combos
and some sparkling green tea. it tastes alot better than it sounds.


basically, I Just want this week to be over.
